The Sonic 4 saga continues in Episode II, featuring the return of a beloved sidekick and the comeback of fan-favorite villains.

In this installment, Metal Sonic has joined forces with Dr. Eggman, as they plot on Little Planet to construct a new Death Egg - this time, built around Little Planet. It is now up to Sonic and his faithful sidekick to thwart Dr. Eggman's plans and bring down Death Egg mk.II. With its classic 'Sonic feel,' improved gameplay, five distinct Zones, and an outstanding soundtrack composed by Jun Senoue, this speedy sequel, which originally debuted in May of 2012, lives up to expectations.

What sets this release of Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II apart is the inclusion of Episode Metal, which is unlocked from the start. This bonus set of stages allows players to assume the role of Metal Sonic across painstakingly challenging versions of Zones from Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode I. By completing these stages, players will uncover the entire backstory behind Sonic The Hedgehog 4.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II, like other titles in the SEGA Forever collection, offers additional features such as leaderboards, cloud saves, and controller support.
